Quavo's latest single, "Trance (Walk It Down)," has been released, offering a vibrant preview of his upcoming album, QRÖMELIFE. This entire project is being produced by the renowned Pharrell Williams. The new track samples Shannon's 1983 song "Let the Music Play" and features a strong club-ready sound with prominent 808s and melodic rapping from Quavo.
The music video for "Trance (Walk It Down)" was co-directed by Quavo and Daps. It was filmed in Marbella, Spain, at an opulent villa and aboard a yacht, immersing viewers in a scene of luxury and celebration that mirrors the song's themes.
This release follows Quavo's earlier single "HAAVIN," which debuted in June. QRÖMELIFE is set to mark Quavo's first solo studio album since his 2023 release, Rocket Power, which served as a tribute to his late nephew and Migos groupmate, Takeoff. Quavo has indicated that QRÖMELIFE will showcase his perseverance and evolution, with Pharrell's production guiding the album's unique sonic direction.
