Allu Arjun's "Pushpa 2: The Rule" has officially secured a spot in the Top 10 highest-grossing Indian films in Japan. The film, which premiered in Japanese theaters on January 16, 2026, achieved this feat within just two weeks.
In its first 14 days, "Pushpa 2: The Rule" collected ¥105 million (Rs 6.03 crore) at the Japanese box office. This success led it to overtake Aamir Khan's "Dhoom 3", which previously held the tenth position. The film's popularity is attributed to strong word-of-mouth and positive reception of its action sequences in major cities.
"Pushpa 2" now stands alongside other acclaimed Indian films like "RRR" and "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion" in Japan's box office history. Meanwhile, Indian cinema's appeal in Japan continues to grow, with Ranbir Kapoor's "Animal" slated for release on February 13.
