In the upscale North Zealand area of Denmark, the discovery of a woman deceased in her swimming pool initiates a chilling investigation. The victim's boyfriend, Tom, a known con artist, insists the death was accidental. However, hard-driving journalist Nora Sand, familiar from the earlier hit "Fatal Crossing," begins to probe Tom's history. Sand's investigation aims to determine if the death was indeed a tragic accident or a meticulously planned murder.
"The Pushover," a six-part series, is the second adaptation of a novel by author Lone Theils. The crime drama has already garnered significant international interest, with pre-sales agreements for Poland's NC+ and Benelux's Lumiere Group. Denmark's DR and Sweden's TV4 have also acquired broadcast rights. Produced by Shuuto Arctic for Norwegian streamer Altibox, the series reunites the creative team behind "Fatal Crossing," including scribes Arne Berggren and Kristine Berg, and director Magnus Berggren.
