Last month, the city of Pune witnessed a grand celebration of Navratri with the first-ever Pune Times Garba Nite. The event, held on September 27 and 28 at The Corinthians Resort & Club, brought together Punekars to revel in the festivities.
The two-day event was a vibrant display of music, dance, and star power. Attendees dressed in colorful traditional attire and showcased both traditional garba moves and modern twists to the festive rhythms. The dance floor was a swirl of energy and color as the live band kept the crowd on its feet with non-stop garba and dandiya beats.
Actors Ketki Dave and Lauren Gottlieb added to the star power of the event, with Ketki taking a break from her garba moves to pose for selfies and Lauren joining the crowd on the second day. Despite heavy rains on Sunday, hundreds of attendees continued to celebrate, with some even taking a break to catch the India vs Pakistan Asia Cup final before returning to the dance floor.
By the time the event drew to a close, the venue had transformed into a hub of garba lovers, filled with a storm of energy, color, and devotion. Prizes were also given out to the best-dressed, best dancers, and those with the most creative accessories.
