Priyanka Chopra Lauds Comedian Zakir Khan's "Kindness and Creativity" After NYC Lunch

In September 2025, Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra met up with popular Indian comedian Zakir Khan for an informal lunch in New York City. Following their meeting, Priyanka took to her Instagram Stories to express her admiration for Zakir, praising his "creativity, kindness and humor."

Zakir also shared a glimpse of their meetup on his own Instagram, calling Priyanka the "queen herself." The two entertainers seemed to have enjoyed a friendly exchange during Priyanka's stay in the U.S. for work commitments. Prior to arriving in New York, Priyanka had been in Mumbai, where she inaugurated a Bvlgari store and mingled with other Indian film stars.

Meanwhile, Zakir is currently on a breakthrough North America tour, having recently become the first Indian comedian to headline a Hindi stand-up show at the prestigious Madison Square Garden in New York. The show, which drew around 6,000 people, also featured a surprise appearance by fellow comedian Hasan Minhaj, who hailed it as a "historic night for comedy around the world."

Despite his rising success, Zakir had earlier announced that he would be scaling back future tours to focus on his health, revealing that he had been unwell for over a year. As for Priyanka, she is gearing up for a major new project with acclaimed director S.S. Rajamouli, a jungle-adventure film also starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj.
