Priyanka Chopra Skips Met Gala for Global Press Tour

Priyanka Chopra will not be gracing the Met Gala 2026 this year, a notable absence from fashion's biggest night. Sources confirm her decision stems from prior commitments. The actress is currently engaged in an extensive global press tour to promote the forthcoming season of the series 'Citadel,' which is slated for release on May 6, 2026.

Following her promotional duties, Chopra is scheduled to attend the Gold House Gala in Los Angeles on May 9, 2026. At this event, she will be honored with the prestigious Global Vanguard Award, marking her second consecutive year receiving this accolade. Her work commitments also include SS Rajamouli's film 'Varanasi,' expected in theaters on April 7, 2027.
