She explained that her role required her face to be on camera for dramatic effect during intense scenes, ensuring the audience felt the character's emotions.
The film, "The Bluff," is set in the Cayman Islands during the late 1800s. Priyanka Chopra portrays Ercell "Bloody Mary" Bodden, a character who is a former pirate seeking a peaceful life but finds her past resurfacing. This marks Chopra's second collaboration with the Russo brothers, following their previous project "Citadel."
The movie is co-written by Joe Ballarini and Flowers and also stars Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, and Safia Oakley-Green. "The Bluff" is scheduled for streaming on Prime Video starting February 25. Priyanka Chopra has also finished filming the second season of "Citadel," which is expected to premiere on Amazon Prime Video this year.
