Priyamani candidly admitted, "We have never been on talking terms in that way, even though we are related." However, she maintains a closer bond with Vidya's father, stating, "Balan uncle is in regular touch with me, and if he can't reach me, he calls my father and they talk."

She described Vidya as "a phenomenal actor" and expressed her eagerness to see the actress return to the screen, saying, "I can't wait for her to come back on screen.
