Prince William to watch Karan Johar's K3G?

Prince William has expressed his intention to watch the 2001 Bollywood family drama, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, following a journalist's suggestion. The Prince of Wales met with acclaimed filmmaker Karan Johar, whom he described as an "icon" and praised for his crucial assistance in establishing the Earthshot Prize within India. William emphasized the goal of making the environmental initiative a significant Indian endeavor.

The Prince's comments were made in London, around an event connected to the Earthshot Prize. He acknowledged Johar's 'modest' yet vital contributions to the prize's expansion. When asked about watching any of Johar's films, William admitted he hadn't but seemed open to the idea, which led to the specific recommendation of K3G.

The Earthshot Prize Summit is scheduled to convene representatives from various sectors to foster discussions and collaborations for environmental innovation. This will culminate in the sixth Earthshot Prize Awards Night on November 17, 2026. Fifteen finalists will be honored, with five selected winners each receiving £1 million to advance their environmental solutions.
