Prince Harry's memoir, "Spare," details a physical confrontation with his brother, Prince William, in February 2019. This alleged fight occurred at Nottingham Cottage around the same time Meghan Markle was celebrating her baby shower in New York City.

According to Harry's account, Prince William initiated a meeting to discuss concerns about Meghan's interactions with palace staff. Harry described his brother as agitated, confronting Meghan with accusations of being "difficult," "rude," and "abrasive." The discussion escalated when William allegedly grabbed Harry's collar and knocked him to the floor, causing Harry to land on a dog bowl.

Harry stated that he was shaken by the incident, which he described as different from their childhood scuffles. Following the fight, William reportedly apologized and advised Harry not to tell Meghan about the altercation. Harry did eventually share the details with Meghan upon her return, and she appeared saddened rather than angry.
