Prince Harry Denied Palace Stay Amid Royal Visit

Prince Harry is reportedly disappointed following Buckingham Palace's decision to withdraw an invitation for him to stay at the royal residence during his upcoming visit to London. His team had initially confirmed an offer to stay at the palace, but it was subsequently withdrawn.

Sources indicate the offer was rescinded because Harry did not respond by the required deadline. The palace cited the need for a minimum notice period for preparations and staffing.

It remains unclear where Harry will stay in London. His wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children will not be joining him for this portion of the trip.

This absence is attributed to an ongoing dispute concerning taxpayer-funded police security, which the Sussexes are no longer entitled to. Despite not joining him in London, there are reports Meghan and the children might later visit Althorp in Northampton, Princess Diana's family estate.

Harry has previously stated he would not bring his family to the UK without an agreement on enhanced security. Consequently, his recent visits have been solo, and King Charles has not seen his grandchildren in four years. The King has reportedly invited them to spend the summer at Balmoral in an effort to mend their relationship.
