In a move to deepen its presence in the young adult genre, Prime Video has announced a significant partnership with Spanish author Mercedes Ron. The streamer has unveiled a pact that will see the adaptation of 10 of Ron's book sagas into films and TV shows.
As part of this collaboration, Prime Video has confirmed the upcoming production of "Dímelo en Secreto," the second installment in Ron's "Dímelo" trilogy. This follows the success of the first film, "Dímelo Bajito," which has captivated global audiences with its exploration of young adult sexuality and family trauma.
The broader "House of Ron" deal encompasses a range of Ron's popular book series, including the "Culpables" and "Enfrentados" trilogies. Prime Video's Head of Originals for Southern Europe, Nicole Morganti, has praised the partnership, stating that Ron's books have a passionate fanbase worldwide, and the streamer is excited to continue building connections with them through these adaptations.
The event in Ibiza also saw the unveiling of first-look images for "Your Fault: London," the second film in the UK version of the "Culpables" trilogy. Additionally, Prime Video announced an Italian original movie, "Love Me, Love Me - Magnetic Hearts," set to launch in early 2026, as well as the upcoming release of the feature adaptation of Venezuelan author Ariana Godoy's Spanish-language webnovel, "Sigue Mi Voz," in January 2026.
