The Pretty Reckless has unveiled their latest single, "Dear God," the fourth release from their new album. This track moves away from the intensity of previous singles, offering a more haunting sound led by Taylor Momsen's vocals and culminating in an electrifying guitar solo. Momsen described the song as "desperation set to music," a plea from a place between heaven and hell.
The album 'DEAR GOD' is characterized by the band as their most emotionally raw and uncompromising work, featuring 14 tracks written with diaristic honesty. Notable songs include "Life Evermore" in three parts, "Dragonfire," "Eye of the Storm," and "Devil in Disguise (Michelle's Song)." A global tour supporting the album has been announced, beginning in North America with stops in New Orleans, Dallas, and Los Angeles before proceeding to Europe.
This release follows a period of significant milestones for the band. In 2025, they concluded a two-year run supporting AC/DC on their PWR UP Tour, performed with Soundgarden at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and appeared at the MusiCares Person of the Year Gala honoring Mariah Carey. Their holiday EP also produced a chart-topping reimagined version of "Where Are You Christmas?"
