The Taylor Momsen-fronted rock band has unveiled plans for their fifth studio album, titled "DEAR GOD," scheduled for release on June 26 via Fearless Records. The album promises a raw and uncompromising listening experience, built on diaristic songwriting and artistic freedom. The 14-track collection will include their previous chart-topper, "For I Am Death," alongside new material.
To support "DEAR GOD," the band announced a headlining world tour, with initial North American dates planned in New Orleans, Dallas, and Los Angeles before heading to Europe. The first single from the album, "When I Wake Up," was released on March 14. Momsen described the song as a cautionary tale of dreams turning into nightmares, featuring a punk-driven sound with explosive guitars and her signature powerful vocals.
This announcement caps off a significant period for The Pretty Reckless. They performed at the 2026 MusiCares Person of the Year gala and the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony. Notably, their single "For I Am Death" previously hit No. 1 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, marking their eighth No. 1 and fourth consecutive. This achievement solidifies their record as the female-fronted act with the most chart-toppers in the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart's history.
