Filmmaker Prerna Arora has shared her insights on the box office performance of her recent film, Jatadhara. She expressed that the movie's extended runtime likely deterred audiences, suggesting that films under two hours and with more accessible ticket prices would fare better commercially. Arora pointed out that the excessive costs associated with movie theaters and their concessions are negatively impacting the industry's growth.
Arora also revealed that considerable savings were achieved by shooting the film in Hyderabad, contrasting it with the potentially doubled expenses in Mumbai. She praised the local technicians in Hyderabad for their professionalism and reasonable charges. Her upcoming Hindi-Telugu bilingual project will also be filmed in Hyderabad, with ongoing negotiations for casting.
