Originally produced under the Sri Lakshmi Venkateswara Art Films banner, 'Premante Idera' was also a debut for music director Ramana Gogula. Directed by Jayanth C Paranjee, the movie tells the story of Murali and Sailu's love, facing hurdles when Sailu becomes engaged. The ensemble cast included notable actors like Ranganath, Srihari, and Brahmanandam.
Despite receiving mixed reviews initially, 'Premante Idera' proved to be a commercial success, grossing Rs 8.5 crore.
