Actress Preity Zinta has secured a new residence, leasing a 1,500 sq ft apartment in the exclusive Pali Hill area of Bandra (West), Mumbai. The agreement spans two years, commencing on May 27, 2026, with a monthly rent starting at Rs 6 lakh. This upscale property includes a dedicated parking space and is situated in the Art Veda building, leased from MS Union Land and Building Society Ltd.
The financial terms of the lease stipulate a Rs 6 lakh monthly license fee for the initial 12 months. Subsequently, the rent will escalate to Rs 6.5 lakh per month for the following 12-month period. Documents reveal a significant security deposit of Rs 27 lakh was paid for this rental arrangement.
This rental activity follows Preity Zinta's recent property transactions. Earlier this year, she sold an apartment in the same Pali Hill locality for Rs 18.50 crore. Prior to that, in November 2025, she sold another unit for over Rs 14 crore. On March 2, 2026, Zinta finalized the sale of a third apartment in the Rustomjee Parishram building to US-based Indian citizens for an undisclosed sum, involving substantial stamp duty.
In her professional life, Preity Zinta is preparing for the release of her upcoming film 'Batwara 1947'. The movie, produced by Aamir Khan Productions, features a notable cast and is set against the backdrop of the Partition, exploring themes of bravery and resilience.
