- Elle Fanning plays a Weyland-Yutani synth who teams up with a young Predator
- Arnold Schwarzenegger in talks to reprise his role as Dutch from the original Predator

In the upcoming Predator: Badlands film, set to premiere on November 7th, the worlds of Predator and Alien are set to collide. The 2x Emmy-nominated writer and director recently explained that the Weyland-Yutani corporation, a key element of the Alien franchise, will play a major role in the movie.
Elle Fanning will portray a Weyland-Yutani synth named Thia, who teams up with a young Predator named Dek from the Yautja clan after he is cast out. This fusion of the two franchises is described as a "super organic" decision, as the producer Ben Rosenblatt noted the "spiritual connection" between the two.
Notably, the producers have also been in discussions with Arnold Schwarzenegger about potentially reprising his role as Dutch from the original 1987 Predator film. Rosenblatt stated that getting Schwarzenegger back would be the "holy grail" for the Predator franchise, as the actor has become iconic for his portrayal of the character.
With the highly anticipated crossover and the possibility of Schwarzenegger's return, Predator: Badlands is shaping up to be a must-see event for fans of both the Predator and Alien franchises.
