Charles Finch, in partnership with Chanel, hosted his 30th annual pre-BAFTA Party at 5 Hertford Street in Mayfair. The event, described as a "dysfunctional evening," attracted a wide array of stars and studio executives.
Dame Donna Langley, chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment, and Michael De Luca, co-chair and CEO of Warner Bros Motion Picture Group, were among the notable attendees. Finch addressed the guests, affirming his optimism for cinema's future, stating, "Film will find its way like water," regardless of challenges like AI and studio system changes.
The gathering facilitated unique conversations, with Coogler discussing budgeting with Doug Liman and Regé-Jean Page chatting about figure-skating. Mark Strong, who recently starred on Broadway and is set to appear in Tom Ford's "Cry to Heaven," was also present.
