Indian singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad has released his third full-length studio album, 'Full Moon Chamber.' This 14-track record, created in New York and Los Angeles, documents a period of intense emotional change for the artist. Kuhad initially took time off in 2025 due to touring burnout, which provided the clarity needed to refine this ambitious project that he began in 2023.
The album's title, 'Full Moon Chamber,' emerged from Kuhad's observation of heightened emotions during full moons, symbolizing an internal echo chamber. The music reflects this, with the first half conveying uncertainty and turmoil, while the latter half offers a sense of resolution and self-discovery. Kuhad experimented with his creative process, moving from his usual solitary home demos to collaborative studio writing sessions in both New York and Los Angeles.
To unify the diverse sonic elements resulting from multi-city collaborations, co-producer Nick Ruth was brought in. Ruth was instrumental in refining arrangements and re-recording vocals to create a cohesive sound. Kuhad also continues to balance his music career with a burgeoning film career, set to debut in director Dar Gai's 'Drowning.'
