During the filming of 'China Town,' a prison sequence required Rawat to deliver a single Malayalam word, 'oppidu' (sign it). However, in various takes, he comically mispronounced it as 'Thuppidra,' causing Dileep and Jayaram to burst into uncontrollable laughter, while Mohanlal, remarkably, completed the scene without breaking character.
Another incident involved Rawat needing to deliver a lengthy dialogue while Mohanlal had a fever. To aid Rawat's memory, the script was ingeniously placed on Mohanlal's face and chest, allowing Rawat to read lines while maintaining eye contact.
