Gopichand rumored as Prabhas' 'Spirit' antagonist

Rebel Star Prabhas is currently engaged in filming his forthcoming cop-action drama, 'Spirit,' under the direction of Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Rumors suggest that senior Telugu actor Gopichand has been selected to portray the villain in the film, though the makers have not yet officially confirmed the complete cast. This potential casting would mark Gopichand's debut opposite Prabhas and his first collaboration with director Vanga. The film is officially set to release worldwide on March 5, 2027, a date announced via a special poster shared by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Previously anticipated for a 2026 release, the film's schedule was adjusted due to extensive shooting and post-production demands. The recently unveiled first-look poster features Prabhas shirtless, with actress Triptii Dimri depicted in front of him. Additionally, Vivek Oberoi and Prakash Raj are slated to appear in key roles, with music composed by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.
