Summary
- Theatrical rights of 'The Raja Saab' valued at high price in North America
- Film must earn $10M at North American box office to break even
- Prabhas' previous films have performed well in the region

As of October 10, 2025, the upcoming Tollywood film 'The Raja Saab', starring Prabhas, has been valued at a very high price for its North American theatrical rights. This comes on the heels of the global success of Prabhas' previous release, 'Kalki 2898 AD', which earned a solid $18.57 million in the region.
Considering Prabhas' star power and the film's genre, 'The Raja Saab' is expected to perform well at the North American box office, especially in the initial days of its release. However, the distribution company that acquired the rights, Prathyangira Cinemas, has set a high breakeven target of $10 million for the film across all languages.
This means that 'The Raja Saab' must earn at least $10 million, or approximately ₹88.56 crore, in North America to avoid being a failure for the distributor. The film, directed by Maruthi, also stars Sanjay Dutt, Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar, and is scheduled to release on January 9, 2026.

With Prabhas' previous films like 'Salaar' earning $8.94 million in North America, the team behind 'The Raja Saab' is confident about the film's performance in the region. However, the high breakeven target sets a significant challenge for the film to overcome in order to be considered a success.
