Prabhas's Box Office Woes Prompt Release Schedule Shake-up
27 Jan
Summary
- Prabhas's 'The Raja Saab' underperformed at the box office.
- Upcoming film 'Fauzi' release date is now uncertain.
- Actor is reportedly rescheduling releases for 'Spirit' and 'Fauzi'.

Prabhas's recent film, 'The Raja Saab,' has faced a significant box office setback, becoming one of his lowest-grossing movies despite crossing the Rs 200 crore mark globally. Its substantial budget, however, led to financial losses and mixed social media reception.
In light of this performance, Prabhas is reportedly adopting a more cautious approach to his film releases. According to reports, the actor is closely monitoring his upcoming projects to prevent further box office disappointments.
This strategic shift may see 'Spirit,' directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, releasing before the period drama 'Fauzi,' which was initially slated for an Independence Day 2026 release. The revised plan introduces uncertainty regarding 'Fauzi's' release date, with no official statements yet confirming these changes. 'The Raja Saab' ultimately grossed Rs 205 crore worldwide, with Rs 171.41 crore from India.
