This special release will be available in physical formats, including vinyl records and compact discs, offering fans a tangible connection to Malone's early work.

The mixtape's title, August 26, referenced the initial planned release date for his major label debut album, Stoney. Although Stoney was later released on December 9, 2016, it achieved success with hits like "Congratulations" and "I Fall Apart." Several tracks from the August 26 mixtape, such as "Money Made Me Do It" featuring 2 Chainz, have also become fan favorites over the years.

Since his debut, Post Malone has demonstrated remarkable versatility, exploring various musical genres.
