Pop Star Chappell Roan Conquers Rock Festival in Mexico City

In November 2025, pop artist Chappell Roan took the stage as the headliner for the Corona Capital festival in Mexico City. Prior to the performance, Roan was anxious that the crowd, which was known to lean more towards rock music, would not vibe with her pop style. However, Roan's fears were quickly put to rest as the audience welcomed her with open arms.

"The crowd was so wonderful and I felt so loved and supported!" Roan wrote in a social media post following the event. The artist also noted that she had transformed into a "screaming banshee" for the occasion, wearing a costume inspired by early-20th-century brassieres and 18th-century medical corsets.

Roan's performance in Mexico City marked the finale of her Visions of Damsels and Other Dangerous Things Tour. During a previous stop in Los Angeles, the singer had delivered a heartfelt speech about how performing reminded her of why she loves her job, and how it allows her to bring joy and a sense of safety to her queer fans.

As for Hilary Duff, the pop icon had earlier thanked her fans for the sold-out shows on Roan's tour, teasing that more live performances from the rising star may be on the horizon.
