Pooja Bhatt on Mahesh Bhatt's Past Love

Pooja Bhatt recently shared personal insights into her father Mahesh Bhatt's past romantic involvement with actress Parveen Babi during the late 1970s. This relationship occurred after Babi's separation and while Bhatt was married to his first wife, Kiran Bhatt.

Pooja Bhatt defended her father's actions, stating she would prefer a father who acknowledges shifts in affection and leaves a struggling marriage over one who maintains appearances with external affairs. She elaborated that her parents ultimately agreed their relationship was over.

Following Parveen Babi's death, which was preceded by a prolonged struggle with mental health, Mahesh Bhatt and Kiran Bhatt reconciled. Later, Bhatt developed a relationship with Soni Razdan, whom he married in 1986 after converting to Islam.
