Pooja Bedi admits weak acting, excelled as sex symbol

Pooja Bedi, who entered films in 1991 after an early start in modelling, recently shared candid reflections on her career and personal life. She admitted that while she was recognized as a sex symbol, her acting skills were not her forte.

Bedi stated, "I was in films and I wasn't a very good actress, to be honest. I was very good at being sexy." She emphasized her ability to captivate audiences by leveraging her public image.

She left acting after four years to marry Farhan Furniturewala in 1994. The couple had two children, daughter Alaya F and son Omar, before divorcing in 2003 after nearly a decade together.

Bedi views marriage as a journey, expressing gratitude for her children and her enduring friendship with her ex-husband, whom she considers her best friend. She also stated, "I was so happy to be married and I was so happy to be divorced."
