It received a record-breaking eleven Swedish Guldbagge nominations, ultimately winning six awards, including Best Film, Best Male Actor, and Best Screenplay. This marks Saleh's third film exploring political control, following "The Nile Hilton Incident" and "Cairo Conspiracy."
