PMO Steps In: Actor's Odisha Beach Drowning Probe Intensifies

The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has intervened in the investigation into the drowning death of actor Rahul Arunoday Banerjee. The PMO has directed the Odisha government to thoroughly examine the circumstances surrounding the tragedy, which occurred over two-and-a-half months ago.
This action was prompted by a complaint lodged with the PMO by the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA). The association is calling for a deep probe and accountability for those allegedly responsible for the incident at Talsari beach. The PMO has forwarded the grievance to Odisha's Chief Minister's Office and Chief Secretary for urgent attention.
