Summary
- Pierce Brosnan, 72, appeared to need help with a handgun.
- Helen Mirren, 80, confidently handled a powerful Uzi.
- They reprise crime family roles in MobLand season two.

Pierce Brosnan, 72, once MI6's top agent, is returning to the screen for the second series of the crime drama MobLand. While filming scenes, the Irish actor appeared to need assistance handling a Glock semi-automatic pistol, a far cry from his iconic 007 days. It has been 23 years since his last James Bond film, and the weapon differed from his favoured Walther PPK.
Conversely, his co-star Dame Helen Mirren, 80, exuded confidence, seen with a potent Uzi submachine gun. The pair are reprising their characters, Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, who lead a crime family embroiled in a violent conflict. The series, produced by Guy Ritchie, also features Tom Hardy.
The upcoming season is set to explore darker themes, including European gun and drug smuggling routes. Some filming for the second season has reportedly taken place in Spain, with several cast members returning.
