A vibrant photography exhibition commenced on Wednesday at the UP State Lalit Kala Akademi, celebrating the visual narratives of city-based photographer Anil Risal Singh and artist Anil Sharma from Varanasi. This three-day event, organized by the UP culture department, will welcome visitors daily from 11 am to 6 pm, concluding on March 27. The exhibition proudly displays over 100 photographs by Anil Risal Singh, encompassing his notable black-and-white compositions, and highlighting historic buildings and serene landscape vistas.
Anil Sharma complements the collection with approximately 80 photographs and watercolour paintings. His works delve into the essence of important Indian cities, diverse cultures, and captivating natural scenes. Akademi chairperson Sunil Kumar Vishwakarma noted Singh's distinctive ability to transform everyday subjects into striking visual art, finding the extraordinary in the ordinary.
