Summary
- Film Philippines Office revamped its co-production fund.
- Two tracks offer funding based on Filipino stake.
- Maximum PHP13 million available for majority track projects.

The Philippines has updated its International Co-Production Fund (ICOF) with a new framework featuring two distinct tracks. This initiative, unveiled by the Film Philippines Office (FPO), aims to incentivize international film and series collaborations.
The Majority Track is designed for projects where Filipino producers lead with foreign partners. These projects can receive up to PHP13 million for features and series, and up to PHP5 million for documentaries and shorts. Eligibility requires at least a 20% Filipino stake and a majority share, along with specific Filipino talent in above-the-line and key crew positions.
The Minority Track supports international productions with a Filipino producer as a junior partner. Features and series can secure up to PHP7 million, while documentaries and shorts are capped at PHP3 million. This track has less stringent requirements for Filipino involvement, focusing on a 10% stake and fewer key personnel.
Both tracks offer additional incentives, including PHP1 million for qualifying ASEAN co-productions and up to PHP2 million for projects passing a cultural test. The FPO, part of the Film Development Council of the Philippines, manages the country's film incentives and support services.
