Phil Collins has expressed that he is feeling healthier and is not entirely dismissing the possibility of recording new music or embarking on tours.
The eight-time Grammy winner, who last toured with Genesis in 2022, previously shared details about his ongoing health issues. These include Type 2 diabetes, complications from a 2007 spinal injury, and kidney problems, which have impacted his ability to play drums.
Despite being asked to perform at his upcoming Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction, Collins declined, stating the need to be 'match fit' and undergo extensive rehearsals. However, he admitted to contemplating a return to performing live, mentioning his desire to visit his home studio.
Collins revealed he has many lyrical ideas and several unfinished projects, alongside a few completed works. He was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame with Genesis in 2010, and the Class of 2026 will also see inductions for acts like Billy Idol and Wu-Tang Clan.
