Peter Thomas, former husband of Cynthia Bailey, has been released from federal prison and is now under community confinement. He is no longer at FCI Miami and is supervised by the Miami Residential Reentry Management Office.
Thomas is either residing in a halfway house or under home confinement, a significant change from his previous incarceration. He had pleaded guilty to failure to pay trust fund taxes, owing the IRS $650K related to a restaurant in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Sentenced to 18 months, Thomas began his sentence on August 1, 2025. His scheduled release from residential reentry supervision is August 2026, after which he will begin two years of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $2.5 million in restitution.
