Summary
- Worcester will feature 35 Peter Rabbit sculptures for eight weeks in 2027.

- Smaller sculptures will be decorated by students and community groups.

Worcester is preparing to welcome a whimsical new art installation in the summer of 2027. St Richard's Hospice has announced that its fourth public sculpture trail will feature 35 large, individually decorated sculptures of Peter Rabbit. These charming sculptures are scheduled to be on display in streets and open spaces throughout the city for an eight-week period, from July 12 to September 5, 2027.
The upcoming trail, named 'Peter Rabbit in the warrens of Worcester,' aims to capture the same city-wide excitement generated by previous trails that showcased giraffes, elephants, and penguins. These past events successfully raised a combined £1.2 million for the hospice's vital services. The selection of Peter Rabbit for this year's trail coincides with the 125th anniversary of the first publication of Beatrix Potter's beloved children's book.
In addition to the 35 large sculptures, the trail will include another 40 smaller Peter Rabbit sculptures. These will be brought to life by students and various community groups, with local schools and organizations entering a "bunny ballot" for a chance to participate. At the conclusion of the eight-week event, the large sculptures will be auctioned, with all proceeds directly benefiting St Richard's Hospice's care services across Worcestershire.
