Kay: Netflix Wanted Trigger Warning for Phoenix Nights

Comedian Peter Kay has revealed he turned down an offer from Netflix to stream his popular series, Phoenix Nights. Kay explained on Capital Breakfast that Netflix requested a trigger warning be placed at the beginning of the show. He felt this was an inappropriate condition, citing that the comedy might not align with modern "politically correct" standards.

Kay humorously recounted receiving a free air fryer from Netflix, believing it was a 'gift' intended to persuade him to accept their offer. He noted that the air fryer, a Phillips model, was covered in Netflix branding and has since broken. Despite his refusal, Kay expressed gratitude for the gesture but also advised listeners to opt for a Ninja air fryer instead.
