Summary
- Peter Cullen voiced both Optimus Prime and K.A.R.R.
- K.A.R.R. was a malevolent prototype from Knight Rider.
- Michael Knight defeated K.A.R.R. in a dangerous cliffside stunt.
Peter Cullen, widely celebrated for his iconic portrayal of Optimus Prime, also lent his voice to the villainous K.A.R.R. in the classic television series "Knight Rider." K.A.R.R., the dark reflection of K.I.T.T., was a prototype automated vehicle with a self-preservation programming.
Unlike K.I.T.T., K.A.R.R.'s primary directive was its own survival, a stark contrast to K.I.T.T.'s mission to protect its driver. The malevolent car was first introduced in the "Knight Rider" episode "Trust Doesn't Rust."
During its debut, K.A.R.R. was unleashed by unwitting thieves. The climax of the episode saw Michael Knight and K.I.T.T. confronting K.A.R.R. in a high-stakes game of chicken, leading to K.A.R.R.'s destruction off a cliff.
