Peruvian Pop Star ATINA Debuts with Powerful "Curita Pa'l Cora" Album

In October 2025, Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors spotlighted a wave of promising Latin artists at the annual Billboard Latin Music Week in Miami. Among them was ATINA, a Peruvian urban pop singer-songwriter who has just released her debut album "Curita Pa'l Cora."

ATINA, who is 22 years old, has been writing songs since the age of 14 as a form of personal therapy. Trained at prestigious institutions like the New School of Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York and Berklee College of Music in Boston, she now aims to "heal hearts through music" with her honest lyrics and powerful, brilliant vocals. Her standout singles from the album include "Qué Tengo Que Hacer," "Respiro," and "Boca."

ATINA was not the only rising Latin talent highlighted at Billboard Latin Music Week 2025. The event also featured other emerging artists across genres, from the Dominican-Ecuadorian singer Belén to the charismatic bachata and merengue singer Ephrem J. These artists are making waves in the Latin music scene with their unique sounds and personal stories.
