As of November 6th, 2025, the young demigods of Camp Half-Blood are embarking on a new adventure in the second season of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. After the events of the first season, which saw the heroes traverse the country, the focus has now shifted to the seas as they set out to rescue their friend Grover.
The trailer for the new season, based on the second book in Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson series, The Sea of Monsters, reveals that the camp's protective barrier has been breached. This prompts Percy Jackson, played by Walker Scobell, to lead an epic odyssey into the treacherous Sea of Monsters, also known as the Bermuda Triangle, in search of Grover and the legendary Golden Fleece, which may be the key to saving the camp.
Joining Percy on this quest are his close friends Annabeth, portrayed by Leah Sava Jeffries, and Clarisse, played by Dior Goodjohn. The trailer also introduces the fan-favorite character Tyson, a cyclops and Percy's half-brother, played by Daniel Diemer. The new season promises larger-scale action sequences, particularly on the sea, as well as the thrilling chariot race that is a pivotal moment in Riordan's original novel.
The stakes are high, as the heroes must not only rescue Grover but also stop the impending plan of Luke, played by Charlie Bushnell, and the Titan Kronos, which threatens to bring down Camp Half-Blood and, ultimately, Olympus itself.
