The renowned festival, running from October 28 to November 1, is situated within the historic ramparts of Lucca, Italy, drawing over 200,000 fans. This year's event also includes premieres from Aardman Animations and discussions with filmmaker Kore-eda Hirokazu on his manga adaptation.

Other notable guests include Frank Miller, creator of "Dark Knight," for a screening of "Frank Miller: American Genius," and Japanese producers presenting anime films. Lucca has become a key European promotional hub for Hollywood studios.
