Peep Show Stars Reunite for Bake Off!

The stars of the iconic Channel 4 sitcom 'Peep Show' have reunited for a special Christmas episode of The Great British Bake Off, marking their first collaboration since the show concluded in 2015. Olivia Colman, David Mitchell, Isy Suttie, Matt King, and Sophie Winkleman will be seen donning festive attire and tackling seasonal baking challenges within the famous tent. This reunion is expected to be a nostalgic treat for fans of the multi-BAFTA-winning series.

While many of the original cast members are participating, Robert Webb, who starred alongside David Mitchell, is notably absent from the promotional images and it remains unclear why he is not involved. The episode will feature the contestants under the scrutiny of judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood, with hosts Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond providing their signature humor.

The Great Christmas Bake Off episode will incorporate challenges that pay homage to 'Peep Show,' adding an extra layer of familiarity for viewers. Last year's festive special focused on soap opera stars, with Chris Bisson emerging as the winner. 'Peep Show' itself, created by Jesse Armstrong and Sam Bain, ran for nine series from 2003 to 2015, chronicling the lives of its two main characters in a London flat.
