Summary
- Peddi's release date was rescheduled multiple times.
- New release targets summer holidays for maximum audience.
- Shooting wrapped with a special AR Rahman song.
The upcoming film Peddi, initially scheduled for release on March 27, has experienced multiple date changes. Following its initial postponement, the slot was taken by Pawan Kalyan-starrer Ustaad Bhagat Singh. Peddi's release was then pushed to April 30, only to be delayed again. Recent promotional material has intrigued audiences with varied looks of the lead actor, Ram, from a blood-drenched state to a pehelwan. The filmmakers announced in a press note that the early June release is a strategic decision. This timing is intended to leverage the tail end of summer holidays, guaranteeing good footfalls before the academic season commences. Trade circles view this as a smart move, providing a strong nationwide platform for the film. Shooting for Peddi has now been wrapped up, including a special number composed by the acclaimed AR Rahman.
