Netflix has unveiled new images and a trailer for the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie, titled "The Immortal Man," marking the anticipated return of Cillian Murphy as Tommy Shelby. The film is directed by Tom Harper and written by Steven Knight.
Joining Murphy are new additions Barry Keoghan, Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth, and Jay Lycurgo, alongside returning cast members Sophie Rundle and Stephen Graham. The trailer depicts Tommy in a haunting setting, grappling with his son Pinto's dangerous actions and his own diminished reputation.
Set in 1940 Birmingham, the movie continues the narrative just before World War Two. The official synopsis highlights Tommy's forced return from exile to confront his legacy amidst wartime chaos, deciding whether to embrace or destroy it.
The film's soundtrack will feature 36 tracks, including five original compositions by Antony Genn and Martin Slattery, with contributions from artists like Grian Chatten and Amy Taylor.
