Peak District Murders: Supernatural Thrills Unfold

Set against the backdrop of the atmospheric Peak District in 2025, a new crime drama premieres on Channel 5, adapted from Stephen Booth's novels. This series introduces local Detective Ben Cooper and his new, skeptical partner, Diane Fry, as they confront their first chilling case involving multiple homicides, including a particularly disturbing decapitation.

The drama features four distinct, feature-length mysteries designed to grip viewers. Over the course of these investigations, the complex characters of Cooper and Fry undergo significant development. Cooper is portrayed as a detective haunted by his father's unsolved murder, a burden that has nearly consumed him over the years.
