Peacemaker Uncovers Earth-2's Chilling Nazi Past

In the latest season of Peacemaker, the title character, Christopher "Peacemaker" Smith (John Cena), has been enamored with an alternate dimension he can access through his family's Quantum Unfolding Chamber. However, by the end of the fifth episode, Peacemaker decides to permanently relocate to this Earth-2, believing it provides him with everything he's been lacking in his own world.
But Peacemaker's 11th Street Kids team, including Harcourt (Jennifer Holland) and Adebayo (Danielle Brooks), soon realize this alternate dimension is a chilling Nazi-controlled world. Gunn, the show's creator, made sure to consult with Brooks, a Black actor, before introducing this sensitive storyline.
Elsewhere, the series is also exploring the redemption arc of Lex Luthor (Nicholas Hoult), who was reintroduced at Belle Reeve prison. Luthor's relationship with Rick Flag Sr. (Frank Grillo) will continue to play a key role in the larger DC Universe going forward.
