In Peacemaker Season 2, which is set to air on TV schedules in 2025, the title character played by John Cena discovers a parallel Earth that initially seems too good to be true. However, it is later revealed that this other world is actually under Nazi control.
Despite the presence of clear Nazi symbols, such as a swastika on the U.S. flag and copies of Mein Kampf at the A.R.G.U.S. headquarters, the Peacemaker characters, including Cena's Christopher Smith, remained oblivious to the true nature of this parallel Earth. Even a giant mural of Hitler in front of the Capitol building went unnoticed by the characters.
Interestingly, the production team had the Hitler mural on the Peacemaker set from the very beginning, not just for the penultimate episode where it was finally revealed. According to the show's production designer, Kalina Ivanov, this was a deliberate choice to ensure the actors were constantly aware of the unsettling Nazi-controlled environment they were performing in.
