Model Paulina Porizkova faces a stressful turn of events as she is being evicted from her New York City apartment just four days before her wedding to fiancé Jeff Greenstein. Porizkova, 61, shared on her podcast that her landlord refused to extend her lease on the Manhattan residence she has occupied since 2021.
The eviction means Porizkova and Greenstein will be starting over as they prepare to marry in Italy. Porizkova expressed affection for the apartment, describing it as a safe space where she felt she grew into herself. She highlighted the unexpected nature of this transition occurring so close to their wedding.
Despite the disruption, Porizkova emphasized their fortunate circumstances, acknowledging they have multiple housing options available. These include a country house co-owned with her sons and Jeff's house in Los Angeles, which is currently on the market. Greenstein added that while they are privileged, the eviction was not part of their plan.
The couple also announced their eviction on Instagram, humorously thanking their "Unsympathetic Landlord." This situation prompted them to dedicate an episode of their podcast, "Twenty Good Summers," to the complexities of moving and harmonizing lives during transitions. Porizkova began her relationship with Greenstein, a writer for shows like "Friends" and "Will & Grace," in February 2023, and he proposed in July 2025.
