Speculation that Paul Walker's brothers, Cody and Caleb, would reprise their roles to bring Brian O'Conner back for the final Fast and Furious film has been officially put to rest. Cody Walker confirmed that neither he nor Caleb are interested in participating in the upcoming movie, 'Fast Forever.'
Cody Walker clarified his position, stating that any decision regarding his father's character should rest with his niece, Meadow Walker. He expressed satisfaction with Brian O'Conner's current send-off, which sees the character retired and raising his children, rather than a more dramatic on-screen death. He noted that if Meadow wished for a return, it could be achieved using existing footage and advanced technology, without his or Caleb's involvement.
In 2014, following Paul Walker's tragic death, Cody, Caleb, and actor John Brotherton stepped in to complete the remaining scenes for 'Furious 7.' The brothers had last publicly indicated an interest in a cameo in 2018, suggesting a tasteful return could be possible. The final installment, 'Fast Forever,' is slated for release next year.
