3 Feb
Summary
- Paul Simon is embarking on a new North American tour in summer 2026.
- He overcame significant hearing loss to perform live again.
- The tour will feature performances in various amphitheaters.

Paul Simon is expanding his "A Quiet Celebration Tour" with a new series of North American dates scheduled for summer 2026. The tour is set to begin on June 4 in Palo Alto, California, and will conclude with two performances in Highland Park, Illinois, on July 17 and 18. Notably, the tour includes a July 8 concert in Forest Hills Stadium, Queens, New York, Simon's home borough.
This tour signifies a significant step for Simon, who had largely retreated from large-scale touring following his 2018 farewell run. His ability to perform again was jeopardized by severe hearing loss in his left ear. However, through collaboration with the Stanford Initiative to Cure Hearing Loss and his production team, he developed a new monitor setup enabling him to play live concerts.
While recent shows took place in smaller venues optimized for acoustics, Simon is now ready to play larger stages. The 2026 itinerary features performances at numerous amphitheaters across the United States and Canada, including iconic locations like the Hollywood Bowl and Red Rocks Amphitheatre. Tickets for these dates will go on sale February 6.
